A man wearing a Hawaiian shirt with yellow hibiscus blossoms on a turquoise background comes in to a Chinese restaurant in a strip mall in North Hollywood. It is raining, but he has no umbrella. He waits by the sign at the front door, which says "please wait-hostess will seat you."
Just then a city bus comes crashing through the plate glass window and aluminum-frame wall, and comes to rest against the steam tables.

Impatient, the man strides towards an open table, asking the arriving hostess "Is it OK if I sit there?"
He takes a seat, facing the door.
Perusing the menu, he finds nothing appealing.
He gets up to leave, and notices it has stopped raining.
